From the 19th July, the government will lift many of the restrictions imposed during the past 18 months of the COVID pandemic, including mask mandates, social distancing etc.
However, we understand that many of you remain concerned by the risk of infection, despite the vaccination programme, and consequently, we would like to continue to offer our patrons reassurance.
We designed the 2021 season at Belcombe very much with COVID safety in mind; socially distanced seating, plenty of fresh air entering the theatre space etc. This will not change and we will continue to operate on precisely the same configuration and capacity, showing the same awareness of risk. Patrons who wish to wear masks can of course do so. We will also maintain the respect for personal space and distancing that some of our patrons may continue to feel reassured by. As our guests move around or enjoy the gardens and site at Belcombe, our front of house staff will be on hand to request that people respect the personal space of, and distancing to, those who feel vulnerable. We will manage areas where queues may form, too. Please feel free to let us know if you feel uncomfortable in any situation.
We would ask all of our friends and patrons to respect the wishes of others and ensure that everybody can enjoy a relaxed and safe festival.
